Roma & District Eisteddfod aims to continue to expand partnerships with schools
and community groups in South West Queensland, to collaboratively support
and promote artistic and cultural curricula and objectives. The event is
the catalyst for schools to develop students' interest in the arts,
providing a showcase for their talents and an opportunity to publicly
perform. The competition provides entrants with professional
adjudication and input in their artistic field and a chance to gain
personal development and confidence building.
Students are able to continually enhance their stage craft through further participation. Professional
adjudication provides critical feedback, encouragement and improvement
which is only available through this event.
There will be NO eisteddofd in 2010. The 2011 eisteddfod will move
ahead with more support and involvement in the organising committee. Please
get involved if you want your children to have this opportunity.
